<Guest2>Hey there, I'm trying to understand how to use (goblins actor-lib ticker). Is there an example out there I can study?

<Guest2>I couldn't grasp it from the documentation alone

<Guest2>I'm trying to hook up the ^player-ship tick method from the persistence tutorial to a ticker

<Guest2>Here's a relevant snippet of what I've tried https://bpa.st/V43Q

<Guest2>I don't know if it's correct. And I can't check the x coordinate of the ship because I don't have a reference to it. Probably doing something stupid :/

<dthompson>darn, Guest2 is gone now that I'm awake...

<zip>it is a time-honored tradition for people to show up in IRC, ask a question and then leave within ten minutes

<LucentW>eternal guest-ember

<dthompson>zip: haha yes indeed
