<flatwhatson>iirc propagators originally came from modeling electronic circuits. it might be possible to compile a propagator system to run on an fpga
<flatwhatson>otherwise perhaps wiring up a decent pile of microcontrollers
<flatwhatson>but i'm not sure it's better than just sticking to a software substrate these days. a bunch of cores and ipc is all you need
<wizard>has anyone done any webgl / webgpu stuff with hoot yet?
<wizard>ive been Thinking about it...
<wizard>oh god it's almost 2am i need to sleep first though lol
<leah2>hi, there are two small issues with the feed at spritely.institute that make issues on planet.scheme.org, who is able to configure that server?
<leah2>cwebber: essentially the feed should be shipped as application/xml not text/xml, and the <feed><link href= should be made absolute URL
<cwebber>Oh interesting
<cwebber>dthompson: ^^
<cwebber>Those seem quite fixable
<cwebber>Yes the parallelization is partly why Brainy works well with propagators on top of goblins
<cwebber>There's one challenge though
<cwebber>Detecting contradictions transactionally needs to happen on a vat level
<cwebber>It's a bit like you can think of different brains in different vats ;)
<cwebber>And they're communicating but might settle on different opinions but inform each other
<cwebber>Also hi leah2, i just made the connection to who you are on the fediverse, nice to see you in here :)
