<euleritian>I recently heard the following argument: "Non-profits rely on donations, and as long as their work is percieved as critical, the donations are coming. That's why they never solve problems, they need them to keep donations coming." How does that reasoning not apply to the Spritely Institute? Is there an exit strategy for the institute and its employees? <dthompson>I don't really subscribe to that argument. maybe for some very large nonprofits. but I guess if the web becomes a mostly p2p, secure place then we could consider our work done. I have a feeling we have many years of work to do, provided we can stay funded.
