<sneek>Zarutian_iPad: wb!!
<cwebber>shhhh
<cwebber>if you're following along at home the biggest feature in Goblins just landed since OCapN/CapTP
<cwebber>but it's not ready to advertise broadly yet
<cwebber>but you, fine #spritely members, can follow along
<cwebber> https://gitlab.com/spritely/guile-goblins/-/merge_requests/98
<juliana[m]>:O
<cwebber>(thank you to dthompson for this incredible work)
<cwebber>(that's right, we have working beginnings of a time traveling distributed debugger... well, for the single-machine case, that is)
<cwebber>(ocapn integration to come later)
<dthompson>:3
<dthompson>this provides a foundation. lots more to come.
<cwebber>oh yeah, and also to those following along at home https://gitlab.com/spritely/guile-hoot-updates/-/blob/wip-wassemble/module/wasm/assembler.scm
<cwebber>"seems like exciting stuff is happening in Spritely-land"
<cwebber>ohhhhh yessss
<cwebber>we've got a lot of excitement in the pipeline :D
<cwebber>(also do you like how I quoted nobody in particular to back up my own argument because I do)
<dthompson>wasm assembler in guile \o/
<cwebber>yup :3
<dthompson>cwebber: I'm reading the nobody-quotes in an infomercial style
<cwebber>haha
<dthompson>"but wait, there's more!"
<dthompson>the super spritely bundle contains not 1, not 2, but 3 amazing products! you get the distributed debugger, the wasm assembler, and the syrup specification! a $200 dollar value, yours for only 3 easy payments of $19.95. but don't wait, supplies are limited!
<acenovo[m]>"so act now"
<dthompson>yeah!
<Zarutian_iPad>dthompson: only 80 buck discount?
<cwebber>re: the Questie stuff here https://gitlab.com/spritely/guile-goblins/-/merge_requests/98
<cwebber>the between-the-lines bit is, for those who like trying such things out while they're early, would be interested to see what peoples' experiences are. it's very pre-alpha in that we haven't really battle tested this stuff yet and more features are planned, but the design seems really clean and we're planning on using it for some things internally
<cwebber>dthompson has even successfully debugged some things with it :)
<dthompson>right, it's a minimal base that we will iterate on. the first step out of many.
