<kriskowal>i would like to schedule a light work meeting (where someone teaches me more guile to finish out the rosetta stone) and a heavier work meeting where we argue about normalizing method invocation.

<kriskowal>my personal rule for work meetings is that decisions are not made but proposals are refined and later discussed at decision making meetings

<kriskowal>in this work meeting i learned about <user-record tag [...payload]> which more closely corresponds to Agoric’s tagged payloads.

<kriskowal>more than raw syrup records, that is. there’s a level of escaping, as is fitting

<kriskowal>it’s not a perfect fit and i’ll have to propose changes to close that gap

<kriskowal>we also refined both “two bottoms” and “one bottom” world views, and refined our argument for “one bottom” in terms of round-tripping python’s None

<kriskowal>folks on the call are also generally in agreement that there are enough tensions on the concrete wire protocol that there’ll be need for multiple representations

<kriskowal>we also learned that multi-return might require an envelope for the js representation.

<kriskowal>i’m not sure what that is in any column, so that’s worth jamming on in greater detail

<kriskowal>cwebber can we enable the discussions tab on ocapn/ocapn? i’m inclined to capture this summary somewhere and issue has procedural implications i don’t want to make
