<dckc[m]>oops! while experimenting with backup tools, I managed to delete my IRC logs from Dec :-/
<ocdtrekkie>probably should make sure you have additional backups before experimenting with backups. :o
<ocdtrekkie>dckc: Relating to your comment about interop between Spritely and Agoric, one thing I struggle with and would like to see more of is the high level vision. If one didn't know anything about OCapN, what will it enable one to do. I would love to see more "this will let you do this thing with this" concepts.
<ocdtrekkie>If all these things could talk today, how would we use them?
<jfred>I can think of one thing: if you wanted to do chat/VoIP, as much as I love Scheme, I feel like.it
<jfred>*like it'd be easier to get Agoric's JS stuff running on mobile devices than it would Goblins
<jfred>Applies to anything running on mobile devices really but chat comes to mind as a very common mobile use case
<tsyesika> https://mastodon.se/@tsyesika/109519875018952158 ;)
<Zarutian_iPad>XS Moddable is really the runtime to have on IoT and mobile
<Zarutian_iPad>for js that is
<jfred>Ah yes on Sailfish and other mobile Linuxes it's more straightforward :P
<jfred>Zarutian_iPad: IoT yes, mobile maybe? You're less constrained there than on IoT devices. (I have wondered if you could get Agoric's stuff running on IoT devices that way... maybe?)
<Zarutian_iPad>on mobile I just recommend ProgressiveWebApplications
<Zarutian_iPad>and do the captp over postMessage, webrtc, websockets, xmlhttprequest, background uploads, periodic updates et ceterata
