<hwpplayer1>I have a question : How to write a filesystem for Hurd? Any documentation for this purpose ?
<Gooberpatrol_66>if it's a virtual filesystem use libnetfs, if it's a disk backed filesystem use libdiskfs
<Gooberpatrol_66>i don't know much more than that
<hwpplayer1>thanks
<hwpplayer1>Gooberpatrol_66: ,
<hwpplayer1>ping
<hwpplayer1>ping 2
<hwpplayer1>ok sorry
<hwpplayer1>Gooberpatrol_66: Do you know C++ ?
<hwpplayer1>What if I write an experimenntal fs for Hurd with C++ ?
<Gooberpatrol_66>i know some c++
<Gooberpatrol_66>i think you could use it
<Gooberpatrol_66>you probably couldnt upstream it because they want the codebase to be in c
<Gooberpatrol_66>they want bindings for other programming languages though so maybe that's not true
<hwpplayer1>Thanks
<hwpplayer1>I was pushing my doc to remote git
<hwpplayer1>sorry

<GNU_Hurd_Rocks>it's the already existing driver
<hwpplayer1>I seee
