<damo22>my attempts at bootstrapping java have failed so far, but i got some good feedback from gnu_andrew, i need to work on it more

<damo22>i am supposed to use icedtea repo to bootstrap 6, then use that to bootstrap icedtea7

<damo22>but what i did was half baked 6 trying to get straight to 7

<damo22>which means i need to port hotspot twice

<damo22>and gnu_andrew does not want me to change linux files, he wants me to create alternative files for hurd port

<damo22>i think that is a bit extreme, considering i can make hurd specific changes with ifdef __GNU__

<damo22>the existing binary seems to not work
