<youpi>ah sorry I read legally significant
<jab`>no worries.
<sneek>jab`, you have 1 message!
<sneek>jab`, janneke says: journaling for ext2? any idea if we need to do something special, other than upgrading?
<bjc>turning on journaling almost instantly leads to file corruption for me
<bjc>at least it was a month or so ago. i haven't checked since
<damo22>i havent tried it because it was still under development
<damo22>youpi: what is a simple way to send email to a list from command line? i currently use proton bridge so i can have smtp on localhost but i cant set that up from my ci host
<damo22>my ci runs every push to gnumach upstream but the results are not available anywhere
<damo22>maybe i can use a 3rd party mail account
<damo22>youpi: which email address do i send CI fails to?
<damo22>commit-hurd?
<youpi>yes for instanc
<youpi>e
<damo22>i managed to set up a mailer
<damo22>well i have an end to end CI that can mail in error reports for all gnumach builds from a riscv64 host
<damo22>it takes 30 minutes for a full CI build on my riscv64 box, but 3 minutes on a x86 machine
<azeem>o_O
<damo22>8 cores vs 14 cores
<damo22>yeah its slower, but doesnt have speculative execution bugs
<damo22>also, its a dedicated resource, i dont use the riscv box for anything really so i can leave it running this CI... 30 minutes isnt THAT bad to wait for a commit to verify
<azeem>this is running pre- or post-commit?
<jab>it sounds like Damian's CI is getting better!
<jab>well I wrote the July Hurd update blog post...it is fairly small.
