<untrusem>So I was having a conversation about micro kernels and obviously I mentioned hurd, and someone told me about fuchsia by goggle, and also asked the question
<untrusem>>also: what is going on with Hurd driver-wise even? the hw support seems to be very poor
<untrusem>I am not knowledgeable enough about hurd to answer this so I told it I would ask in irc and tell it
<identity>the problem with Hurd is that the only reason stopping it from supporting your hardware is *just* the lack of volunteers
<untrusem>ohh, conveyed the message
<listentolist>How many people are currently working on Hurd? How many full-time developers are needed to get to 1.0 in let's say two years?
<youpi>please read the faq
<listentolist>The FAQ page was last edited in 2016. I thought it might be different now. Okay, but I got the answer.
<youpi>see the topic for the url of the faq

<listentolist>youpi: Thanks.
<yelninei>Hi, how would I start debugging a hang in subshells on 64 bit hurds. This seems to work on debian hurd64
<yelninei>I can trigger it reliably with a file with missing shebang or a shebang to a missing file.
