<azeem>hrm, good point
<youpi>--enable-apic indeed
<youpi>I remember some proposal for making the default somehow, but never saw a patch being proposed
<damo22>i think i suggested it, but forgot to make a patch
<crupest>I've made a small pr in vim to let it recognize hurd-amd64 in debian/control. https://github.com/vim/vim/pull/17525
<azeem>I rebuilt gnumach with --enable-apic (but without --enable-ncpus), but that hangs at boot
<lnnk>Hurd have complete support to which architectures?
<lnnk>Does it have complete native x86_64 support? Or only 32 support?
<identity>lnnk: there are x86_64, i686, i386 and AArch64 ports
<p4r4D0xum>lnnk: debian supports i486 arch. as far as I know, please correct me if I'm wrong
<p4r4D0xum>only gnumach is ported to x86_64, not hurd
<p4r4D0xum>as for aarch64 only glibc is ported for that architecture, nothing else
<azeem>p4r4D0xum: https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=hurd
<p4r4D0xum>azeem: I'm sorry but I don't full understand. Was I incorrect?
