<jab>well that's interesting. My T43 Hurd just locked up.

<jab>It's running X (i3), and it's not responding to keyboard or the touchpad.

<jab>I tried typing in Cntl-Alt-Delete to kill X. No dice.

<jab>Then I tried ssh-ing into the Hurd box from my Guix machine.

<jab>That's not working either.

<jab>I guess I have to hard shut it off.

<gnucode>hmm, so the last crash that my Hurd box had...I wonder if it had anything to do with me moving where I was working. So I started the Hurd with it physcially connected to ethernet port 1. Then the sun started shining near ethernet port 1. Port 2 was 10 feet away away from the sun. So I disconnected from ethernet port 1, and moved to port 2.

<gnucode>Then I sudo service networking stop && sudo service networking start

<gnucode>I wonder if that had anything to do with it.
