<zamfofex>I’d imagine it depends on what you consider “stable”. From what I can see, it’s not very difficult to come up with a “stable” OS per se, the difficulty seems to be in supporting existing software and adding various features that people come to expect. E.g. 9front is fairly “stable” and has various modern(‐ish) features, but it doesn’t support many existing software.
<gnucode>zamfofex: yeah...I feel like after the *BSDs...the Hurd supports a ton of software...I can normally play around with it for a several hours without issue, but every now and then it'll lock up completely.
