<ed`>No clue if this is the right place to ask, but i just installed guix (for the first time, i'm new) using a wired connection and replaced the kernel with the nonguix one to make wifi work (following the readme on the nonguix gitlab). After reconfigurig, i got wifi and ethernet, but for some reason i cant resove any names! i can reach ipv4 adresses no problem, but ping gnu.org fails with unknown host.. checking nmcli d show, the dns

<iyzsong>ed`: you can check /etc/resolv.conf, and see if there has valid nameservers.

<iyzsong>also sometimes nscd needs to be cleared and restarted.

<iyzsong>usually networkmanager should manage resolv.conf fine. or static-networking service can be used, which doesn't use NM at all.

<lechner>ed`: Delete /etc/resolved.conf and herd restart NetworkManager
