<basicnpc>I use shepherd at the user level, but it seems a bit shaky.. `herd status` often hangs. This blocks my `guix home reconfigure ..` too.

<Rutherther>you can report it as a bug indeed. Though this one is not harmful, it prints the error, but it doesn't really matter that much

<Rutherther>the error happens because the zzz-guix.sh from /etc/profile.d checks only if the link ~/.guix-profile exists, which it does in many circumstances. It doesn't check if that link points to an actually existing directory
