<civodul>yes
<mark_weaver>after I apply the patches, should I start my YeeLoong bootrapping core-updates, or are more updates to the core packages expected?
<mark_weaver>*bootstrapping
<civodul>i think i'm done with the core updates
<civodul>i ran 'guix refresh' recently
<mark_weaver>okay, sounds good.
<mark_weaver>civodul: okay, I pushed a 'loongson-core-updates' branch.
<mark_weaver>basically, it contains the exact patches that I'd like to apply to 'core-updates', but I don't want to push them until I've tested them somewhat.
<mark_weaver>I currently have my YeeLoong building 'bootstrap-tarballs' from that new branch, and also my x86_64 box building hello from it.
<mark_weaver>the only patch missing is mit-krb5, which I have yet to adapt to the new patch system.
<civodul>mark_weaver: ok!
<civodul>mit-krb5 is not critical for the purpose of building bootstrap-tarballs :-)
<civodul>let me know next week how your YeeLoong is ;-)

<civodul>good night/day!
<civodul>Hello Guix!
<Steap>Hey!
<Steap> https://plus.google.com/108967323530519754654/posts/G7RehwXj6dG <- can you people see this, or does it need login ?
<TaylanUB>Steap: Can see.
<Steap>TaylanUB: good :) That's ESR on NixOS.
<TaylanUB>I thought NixOS has been mature for at least a couple years now, he's a bit late. :P
<TaylanUB>Well I guess it takes time for the masses to adopt a big new idea.
<TaylanUB>Ugh, the GNU haters in those comments trip me up.
<civodul>me too
<civodul>ESR is not very up-to-date, indeed
