<PurpleSym>rekado: What’s your planned time-frame for the Python updates? I can try to work on #65010 next weekend, but no promises. <rekado>PurpleSym: I have no plans. I only noticed that the pygments upgrade from 6 months ago didn’t make it into the master branch, and I wanted to do something about it. <rekado>65010 doesn’t need to be merged right at this time; we can do the pygments thing first, together with some of the science package upgrades (like pandas 2) <PurpleSym>rekado: Yeah, I think nobody felt responsible for python-team or had the time to merge it :( Would be nice to get #65010 into python-team, because it’s a world rebuild and brings some improvements to pyproject-build-system. <PurpleSym>I’ll get it in a mergable state if I have the time, but if you don’t hear anything, please go ahead and merge pygments first. <rekado>I don’t mind giving the build farm some extra work when that’s more convenient <rekado>we don’t have to feel compelled to batch work
