<wdkrnls>Hmm... it would seem to me that guix.install could use an argument to specify a file to take package definitions from rather than taking them from the current profile or channels or trying to take them directly from CRAN. Just a thought from today where I noticed that my personal channel had an older version of r-bnlearn that no longer built.
