<rekado>re the Nature article, I think a challenge is to provide evidence that Guix would be “worthy of continued support” as the authors say. <rekado>it’s easy to show that for numpy, matplotlib, ggplot, etc, because they are used in countless papers. <rekado>Guix on the other hand … not so much. <rekado>I also feel that “research software” isn’t quite the right label for Guix, though it would be worth trying anyway. <bavier[m]>I'd be worried about people reading "research software" as "alpha" or "experimental software" instead of the intended "research-enabling software". <civodul>we have (as always) a chicken-and-egg issue here
