<ajr>hmm that went the other way - now all of (c) (b) (a) are omitted.
<ajr>anyway, i'll play around with it - if anyone has any more ideas please let me know (and thanks for the tip mwette)
<saravia>question guile has not the Rust epidemie, sure?
<sneek>saravia, you have 1 message!
<sneek>saravia, jab says: DO NOT USE libreboot or coreboot with the Hurd. The Hurd can run via libreboot (and/or coreboot), but you will not be able to run X. Also, I would highly recommend that you buy a machine that supports 8+ GB, like the T400. 32 bit hurd is the most stable, but hopefully soon (maybe 1 - 2 years ? ), we'll start recommending people use the 64 bit hurd. A T60 only supports 3 GB of memory max.
<saravia>thank you sneek you are the best, so T400 is a good option for hurd exploration... yes because I search T60 and these are from 2000s
<saravia>ACTION recompile guile for ignore -i to do work insie elisp shell like a passwd default prompt
<saravia>well I go to sleep and tomorrow will be a good day for hack with (system "some") xD!!
<dsmith>ajr, How about making them not tail calls. Maybe put a (display) or something after each..
<lechner>Hi, hoe may I turn off warnings like these, please? WARNING: (guile-user): imported module (make) overrides core binding `rule'
<lloda`>if these bindings are for the same or compatible things and the override is on purpose, you can use #:re-export or #:replace instead of #:export. See https://www.gnu.org/software/guile/manual/html_node/Creating-Guile-Modules.html#index-re_002dexport
<lloda`>if the bindings are for unrelated things, you should rename one of them or avoid importing both at the same time
<sneek>Welcome back mwette!
<mwette>sneek: botsnack
<sneek>:)
<lechner>Hi, does Guile have procedures to efficiently search a sorted list, for example by bisecting?
<lechner>or does a vector make more sense there?
<lechner>nvm, i found vector-binary-search
<mwette>cool, never knew about that
