<sevan>rlb: I've updated 41467 with me diff. Seem like you're really just relying on redefinition support whereas if we don't redefine structs or make sure things are uniquely named, it opens up broader support for Guile. Would be a shame to force the requirement of C11 just because of naming (GCC 5.5, a C11 compiler build takes over 24 hours on a G5, 4.0.1 which supports C99 is readily available as a pre-built
<sevan>binary).

<chrislck>anyone knows why the package webkitgtk-with-libsoup2 isn't building?
<rlb>sevan: hmm, if it sounded like I was advocating for a c11 requirement, I wasn't. Just making an offhand comment that I think I may have been using some c99-isms in my utf8-work.
<dalepsmith>Hey Hey, Guilers! This is a bit off-topic, but I figured some might be interested. I suffered a massive heart attack Wed. Came home Friday. Doing well! Got a helicopter ride and a stent installed.
<RhodiumToad>yikes
<daviid>dalepsmith: wow! i hope you're ok and will fully recover!
<dalepsmith>Yeah I'm doing great so far. Though I'll probably have another attack when I get the bill...
<daviid>right, i thought about that, and a helicopter ride ... in these 'medevac helicopters', and cardiac surgery, in the usa ... have to be billionaire :)
<nckx>sneek: tell dalepsmith Take good care of yourself!
<sneek>dalepsmith, nckx says: Take good care of yourself!
<nckx>sneek: botsnack.
<sneek>:)
<sevan>rlb: no worries, I was dreading that there might be some deeper C11ism beyond just redefinitions :)
<rlb>dalepsmith: ouch, sorry to hear that, and *extremely* glad you're doing OK -- hope you recover quickly.
