<crazychaoz>i have just seen projects/jvm-languages and wanted to point out that I'm currently working on that ( https://git.kempinger.at/CrazyChaoz/Bootstrapping-JVM ) for a paper. i am at kotlin 2.4.0 (2026), scala 2.11 (2015) and can build gradle 8.14.3 (2025) and 9.8.0 (2026) from nix stdenv and a myriad of source repositories
<notgull>How did you get to scala?
<crazychaoz>a pizza to java converter script (LLM generated)
<crazychaoz>and then a lot of specialized patches for a lot of stages, as a lot of progress was made locally and thus some "broken" commits got merged/pushed
<crazychaoz>essentially copious amount of LLM generated code that i have yet to ablate properly, but alas
<LaurentH>ekaitz, janneke: congrats on the Mes 0.28 release!
<ekaitz>LaurentH: thank you!
