<ekaitz>stikonas: is gcc 4 the latest version that is written in C? or is there some 4.8 something that is written in C++
<ekaitz>oh there is a 4.8
<stikonas>yes, 4.8 is in C++
<ekaitz>stikonas: do you remember why I did this in 4.6.4 instead of 4.7? was it because in .6 was modular?
<stikonas>I think because it had separate tarballs
<stikonas>rather than one big tarball for evertyhing
<stikonas>so yes
<stikonas>being modular doesn't really matter that much
<stikonas>but lucklily 4.6 and 4.7 are basically just as good
<ekaitz>what should I say in the pr then?
<ekaitz>4.7 is the last one written in C, but we chose 4.6.4 for no reason?
<ekaitz>haha
<stikonas>you could say one of the last versions written in C
<stikonas>maybe...
<ekaitz>oh that's also possible
<stikonas>it's a bit ambiguous why
<stikonas>but at least not misleading
<stikonas>hmm, we should also add live-bootstrap and Fiwix to that page
<ekaitz>i leave that to you
<stikonas>sure, I'm not asking you
<stikonas>just saying that the page was not really well maintained...
<ekaitz>i'd do it myself, really but I'm sure I wouldn't explain them as they deserve, but count me in for review
<ekaitz>no, it wasn't maintained at all
<ekaitz>we have to take advantage from the codeberg move :)
<ekaitz>stikonas: thanks a lot for the review btw
<stikonas>no big deal :)
<stikonas>yeah, it will be easier to submit PRs to codeberg
<ekaitz>hopefully someone gives me access and I can keep it updated
<ekaitz>:)
<ekaitz>let me know if you send a PR for live-bootstrap and so on
<ekaitz>i'll gladly review and bother the right people to get it merged
<stikonas>sure
<stikonas>probably not today but I'll try to write it at some point
<ekaitz>just ping me when you do
