<lanodan>Seems like CDs but with DRM included and two-face, how would it be less compromisable than the ubiquitous CDs?
<lanodan>Also I think cassettes could be interesting given how low-tech a reader can be and allow to have a single feed for multiple devices at once. (And apparently streamer cassettes can store up to 600MB)
<oriansj>lanodan: well optical media enables visual inspection of the bits and write-once behavior ensures it can't be altered after inspection.
