<oriansj>well one needs flexibility to match naming to the problem space

<oriansj>but yes consistent naming is generally a good idea

<oriansj>discoverability is another class of problems entirely

<oriansj>for example, even if the name is obvious and clear; sometimes that is why even if you know the name finding the thing you know the name of is hard because other things want to use that same name too
