<Noisytoot>GNU\Andrew: \ maps to | in RFC 1459 casemapping, which this ircd uses
<oriansj>thinking deeper cc_* is on average 16KB in size so it is in theory within the scope of possibilities for a human to manually convert into object code
<oriansj>but I can't imagine why one would choose that when a M0 compatible program could be written in in under 2KB
<oriansj>and hex2 can be done in under 1KB
<oriansj>but perhaps I am missing the thought process for making something complex as a high level programming language first rather than a simple low level language like assembly frst. GNU\Andrew could you clarify your thought process further?
<stikonas[m]>well, in some sense stage0-posix is structured in a way that minimizes manual bringup
<stikonas[m]>you do a bit of hard work, then more easier work then even more easier work but total effort is less that directly compiling cc_*
<muurkha>now my girlfriend wants to learn assembly
<Hagfish>muurkha: she sounds like a keeper :) i'm sure you'll treat her right
<oriansj>muurkha: good thing we are a community which is a good place to learn that.
