<pabs3>seems C11 was chosen, meaning updating the GCC requirement to 8.x <bauen1>pabs3: you can still use an earlier version of linux, you'll have to (well, want to) compile up to the most recent version of all toolchain components anyway <stikonas[m]>live-bootstrap already builds earlier version of linux (4.9.10) because newer kernel versions already have more stringent requirements on make, gcc and binutils that what is available early <fossy>stikonas[m], i am running into similar reproducibility issues in qemu, not too sure what is going on just yet ***roptat is now known as Guest8046
<unmatched-paren>autocompletion and doc popups (extracted from the gas/nasm docs, i guess?) should really help with discovering instructions <unmatched-paren>but here in bootstrapping land we are generally less resistant than other people to using unmaintained software :P <unmatched-paren>it's build on top of an existing opcodes database, so i guess it'll be pretty complete ***ChanServ sets mode: +o janneke
