<doras>oriansj: I created https://github.com/oriansj/mes-m2/pull/17
<oriansj>doras: merged
<oriansj>thank you for improving mes-m2
<doras>Thanks :)
<bauen1>i finally have all (well probably more like most) bugs eliminated from my uart driver and the entire thing is now ~320 bytes big ..., so i need to probably add a tiny bit more init code so it can run from flash, add hex0 and then work on reducing the size quite a lot
<bauen1>and maybe i can come up with a circuit to support the programming of the spi flash, hand toggling 256 bytes isn't particularely fun, and i also need to figure out a debounced way of toggling the clock
<doras>stikonas, fossy: I created https://github.com/fosslinux/live-bootstrap/pull/143
<doras>Please double-check me that all the hashes are correct. It did work for me locally, but I'm only building using my local bwrap mode.
<stikonas>doras, fossy: hashes for https://github.com/fosslinux/live-bootstrap/pull/143 are correct. It builds fine on my system in chroot mode
<stikonas>doras: so just mes-m2 update is enough to fix everything?
<doras>stikonas @stikonas:libera.chat: everything is a large word. I have a few more fixes that I'm accomulating for rootless bootstrap without user namespaces, which is what BuildStream required.
<doras>However, this one was the first which appeared immediately useful to the existing modes.
<stikonas>yeah, this one is genuine bug rather than "new feature"
<doras>I'll clean up and submit my changes for review when I manage to fully bootstrap sysa inside BuildStream's sandbox.
<doras>I got to the first /dev node mounting so far.
<doras>BuildStream doesn't have all the /dev nodes that we currently expect.
<doras>Most likely because we don't actually need all of them for non-initramfs bootstrap.
<stikonas>yeah, we can put that code if block
<doras>I want to know which ones we do need for the bwrap mode though. I'll test it later today.
