<stikonas>hmm, so patch in live-bootstrap is either too old or buggy... <xentrac>wow, that's wonderful, oriansj! thank you! <oriansj>and the RISC-V bootstrap seed for stage0 was provided by ekaitz and it looks to include enough info for me to start incorporating a proper RISC-V ELF header <stikonas>and applied fine when I built patch 2.7.6 <stikonas>it was actually the problem with patch and not gettext tarball, so I can just use released tarball <stikonas>(to remove gettext patch from coreutils) <stikonas>actually nevermind... I have used realpath from coreutils to build gettext... <Hagfish>(for what it's worth, that PR looks great to me. very readable code and clear comments, even though i'm not familiar with the surrounding pieces) <siraben>FYI, I was watching ##ob-fsf today and looks like the fsf have strong preferences to leave freenode, rasengan even supported their move <fossy>rasengan supported a group /moving from freenode/! <fossy>i can't make much head or tail of what rasengan is saying there but that's pretty typical. however what you are saying is clear that rasengan thinks they should make a irc.fsf.org <siraben>fossy: it's also because fsf was discussing the possibility of self-hosting <siraben>which wasn't as well received in the discussion, hopefully someone can give the full logs for the discussion for the whole context ***rekado_ is now known as rekado
<rekado>rasengan has made statements about decentralization of IRC elsewhere before. <siraben>he makes claims like that without following up with more technical details, many assume he doesn't have a good understanding of how IRC operates <siraben>(I don't want to derail the channel too much, but just posting this for context on how other FOSS projects are followign suit)
