<OriansJ`>markjenkinsznc: I did like your comments by the way
<xentrac>agreed
<OriansJ`>as I am currently starting up the armv7l hex0 port; I must say lack of 32bit immediates (let alone sane 16bit immediates) makes for some rather ugly code
<OriansJ`>not as bad as the load, jump, immediate as M2-Planet had to do but close enough
<OriansJ`>literally load address from an immediate in .text (because .data isn't valid for gas) to then store to that address
<OriansJ`>on x86 the ratio between loads and stores was 2:1; on arm I am thinking 4;1 or 6:1
<akkartik>Thanks everyone for the responses (and sorry for the lack of delay; IRC is a little outside my comfort zone and easy to forget about)
<akkartik>And hi, rain1!
<bauen1>btw http://bootstrappable.org/ doesn't redirect to https
<markjenkinsznc>Personally, I think it makes sense to redirect current browsers with HSTS and serve up an information only site by http for old browsers, gives you a way to bootstrap from Win98 + IE :)
<Profpatsch>halp, I’m currently writing a blogpost in reply to the abovementioned blogpost
<Hagfish>Profpatsch: what do you need halp with, specifically? :)
<clever>markjenkinsznc: heh, i have had problems before, where the active-x based IPMI, would only work right under winxp, and a fresh XP cant download anything because everybody demands https, but bans old ssl versions
