<rekado>sbp: re Haskell bootstrap: my next approach is to use an old GCC to build the GHC 4 runtime. <rekado>my previous attempts failed because we didn’t have a sufficiently old GCC and building GHC 4 sources with newer versions was very painful. <rekado>now that we have older GCCs for the GCC bootstrap this could be revisited <rekado>I have a bunch of notes that I could share upon request <rekado>I’m not going to work on this any time soon as my amount of freely allocatable time is severely restricted <rekado>but it’s something I wanted to tackle “eventually”
