<OriansJ>Morning
<rain1>good morning
<OriansJ>how is it going rain1 ?
<rain1>not too bad OriansJ , hope you are well
*civodul just watched https://video.fosdem.org/2020/AW1.125/gnumes.webm
<civodul>very pleasant and inspiring, as always!
<janneke>civodul: thank you! i am pretty happy with the talk, even if the performance could be improved ;-)
<janneke>civodul: i think we're almost (again) ready to consider merging wip-bootstrap
<gio>janneke: Nice talk! Unfortuntely I couldn't come in person, but I was waiting for the recording.
<janneke>gio: ty; yes it took much longer that i hoped :-)
<zig>I am wondering whether there is existing material about how to
<zig>bootstrap a LG-like dictionary using a seed of natural language
<zig>elements: grammar, words, punctuation....
<zig>The idea is to use such a seed to teach the program more about the
<zig>full grammar using almost natural conversations.
<zig>LG == Link Grammar.
<civodul>janneke: re wip-bootstrap, yeah we should ask mbakke for feedback
<civodul>it seems to be pretty much ready!
***ng0_ is now known as ng0
<OriansJ>zig: That sounds very much like the APL way of doing things
