<fossy>because I have a lot to do atm <fossy>I will have m2-planet tests today or tomorrow <NieDzejkob>Hi there, a long time ago I read a software horror story about bootstrapping. I am trying to find it again but I came up with nothing, and I guess folk here might've been likely to read it too. It involved an assembly level backdoor generated with some kind of fuzzer/constraint solver/AI, as to be incomprehensible. It was spreading itself like the Thompson trusting trust attack, and subverted all tools to be undetectible. The story was written <NieDzejkob>from the perspective of two programmers whose code got broken by it by accident. <NieDzejkob>ah, fuck, found it. It was right on the front page of bootstrappable wiki <NieDzejkob>as luck would have it, I happened to check on my phone and I subconsciously decided to not expand the "welcome" section, since there couldn't possibly be any helpful links there if there's a separate section of helpful links below ***deesix_ is now known as deesix
