<civodul>Hello Guix!
<zacts>hello guix hackers
<civodul>hello zacts!
<zacts>today is my last day of this semester. I'm hoping to port stuff to guix over the next couple of months..
<zacts>among lots of other projects I'm working on
<zacts>I'm going to finish building this perl webcasts site, and some perl modules
<zacts> https://github.com/zacts/Perl-Webcasts
<zacts>I'm working on starting a gnu endorsed OpenBSD-libre distro
<zacts>and I'm learning scheme, I hope to finish reading SAOP and also Concrete Abstractions
<civodul>oh, that's an endeavor :-)
<zacts>but that's it, nothing more for next semester
<civodul>heh
<zacts>"starting an OpenBSD-libre" - I'm going to relay much of the work to other people
<civodul>that's what we all try to do ;-)
<a_e>Speaking of relaying of work - mailutils does not pass its tests, neither on hydra nor my home machine.
<a_e>And serveez behaves very strangely. Hydra claims it does not compile.
<a_e>But when I try to install it, it is downloaded from hydra.
<a_e>And when I add "--no-substitutes", it compiles locally without any problem.
<civodul>'lo a_e :-)
<civodul>i compiled Serveez locally just fine
<civodul>lemme see
<civodul>indeed, that's weird
<civodul>bavier: does that Serveez failure ring a bell? http://hydra.gnu.org/build/29447
<civodul>mailutils needs a bit of investigation
<bavier>civodul: actually, no, that's a different failure than I was seeing locally
<civodul>so you were seeing a failure? :-)
<bavier>there was one failure in t004 that was fixed by replacing a reference to /bin/sh, but hydra's failure was on t008
<civodul>ok
