<old>dthompson: You use chickadee for that?
<old>I know that you're the author of it, but I havent see any project using it in the wild. I would like to see a full game with it!
<dthompson>old: yeah I've used it for 2 previous jams
<dthompson>old: the more recent and better one: https://davexunit.itch.io/bonnie-bee
<old>Cool!
<old>Great now I want to continue my video game engine ^^
<dthompson>do it!
<lechner>Hi, do these Autoconf macros require a version of autoconf that is newer than 2.69 (which is presently the default in Guix)? https://www.gnu.org/software/guile/manual/guile.html#Autoconf-Macros
<dthompson>lechner: no they should work.
<dthompson>I don't know what the actual minimum version is, but if guix has version 2.69 then you rest assured that guile's autoconf stuff works with it.
<lechner>dthompson: i get this error https://paste.debian.net/1256221/ when i apply this diff https://www.pastery.net/yumqfh/
<lechner>maybe i am using them wrong?
<dthompson>maybe? I am far from an autotools wizard and I don't think I've seen that particular error before.
<dthompson>lechner: I did a google search and found this: https://github.com/wingo/fibers/issues/17
<dthompson>seems that gnu gettext provides this autoconf macro

<lechner>dthompson: thank you for that pointer! i am presently trying to figure out why that does not work (but in #guix)
