<hugo|>Is there a way to get guile/guild to not complain that the my source files are newer than the system wide ones? It's making it hard to see errors while developing
<mwette>hugo|: I've never had good luck overriding system modules, but you could try to set GUILE_LOAD_COMPILED_PATH (pointing to .go files) in addition to GUILE_LOAD_PATH (pointing to .scm files)
<hugo|>mwette: It unfortunatelly still complains...
<hugo|> odule/hnh/util.scm
<hugo|>;;; newer than compiled /usr/lib/guile/2.2/site-ccache/hnh/util.go
<mwette>where is installing your ...odule/hnh/util.scm ?
<hugo|>It should have said "module/hnh/util.scm"
<hugo|>The file is installed globally by the system package manager (by me), since I use the program while developing it
<mwette>I remember similar problems -- never solved IIRC.
<hugo|>To bad :(

<tohoyn>A new version guile-cairo 1.11.2-5 has been released in debian unstable. The new version uses Guile 3.0 instead of Guile 2.2.
